Whose Misfortune is This? BJP or Congress?

One of my friends is a Congressman. His entire family environment is completely supportive of Congress. For him, it is Congress which comes into his sight in every situation. This I find as his one of the biggest virtues.

I met him a few days ago. It was after a long time that we met. So, the conversation went on for a long time. The conversation started getting too formal, so I pulled his leg and asked him -

“Bhai! This time you must be participating in Miss India?”

I asked this question to tease him. I was expecting that he would tease me in return, as has often happened between us. But he became a little serious and answered with a pause -

“Rahul Gandhi is getting stronger, this is very good. Every Congressman wants this. And it was also very necessary. Now the BJP people have come out of intoxication and have returned to their senses! But Rahul Gandhi should not have become a communist! Looking and finding caste in everything is not right! Neither for the party nor for the nation!”

I became speechless after his answer. I had nothing left to tease.

I could easily feel that there was disappointment and worry in his answer.

I have often seen that the people who oppose the wrong policies of either BJP or Congress the most are the ones for whom there was never, is not and will never be any other option. Their dedication to their respective parties is beyond any doubt.

Even then they oppose the policies of their parties. Sometimes they do so openly and forcefully!

Why?

Because they are concerned about the future of the party.

These supporters or workers are not among those who want to join the party in its good times and take advantage of power and unfortunately, they start taking the major decisions of the party directly or indirectly! Probably, this is the reason that even while standing in favour of the party, they oppose the party's policies and unfortunately, the parties often consider them undisciplined! Whereas they are one of the most disciplined and dedicated people towards the party!

I am trying to figure out whose misfortune is this. Of the parties or such supporters and workers?
